Beginners Photography Course - North East Teesside Tyneside and North Yorkshire

New to Digital Cameras, just got a Digital SLR for christmas and no idea where to start ?

Join a professional photographer on PRACTICAL DAY OUT camera sessions !

No sitting in classrooms learning theory , the way to learn your camera is to USE it !

Starting in 2010 I will be running days out on saturdays or sundays and some weekdays and evenings and travelling to some beautiful and challenging locations throughout the north east and north yorkshire , from landscapes to waterscapes to urban and historic anything goes and I will be with you all the way to show you different techniques and help you master your camera.

The days may take any form and rugged footwear and sensible warm clothing will be a must. Equipment wise a Digital SLR or Bridge camera is necessary ( ie a camera that allows you manual control ) , a tripod would be useful even a cheap one will do , dont worry about makes and types all Digital SLRs these days are very capable. If enough interest is developed I will also run a facebook page alongside where we can post our photos and chat.

UPDATE : 1st March 2010

The third course will now run in mid march date to be confirmed but willmost likely be a weekday running from 4-5pm onwards , this will incorporate a sunset and a night shoot in the tyneside area. Once again the cost will only be £20.00 per head but you will need to organise transport to the venue. A tripod will be a necessity for this one as will patience ! and probably a good torch.
